Starting from March 4, two new traffic cameras will begin operation in the Kato Polemidia area of Limassol. 

These cameras will be installed at the intersection of Nicos Kraniotis Avenue and Ayia Anastasia Street, the site of a tragic accident on the night of January 1, 2024, which claimed the lives of four individuals.

What Will the Cameras Monitor?

The newly installed cameras will monitor and capture violations such as:

Running a red light

Crossing the stop line

Speeding

Purpose of the Installation

This addition marks the final phase in the rollout of stationary traffic cameras across Cyprus, aimed at improving road safety and reducing the number of accidents.
