The History of Erebuni-Yerevan
The first official celebration of Erebuni-Yerevan Day took place in October 1968, marking the 1750th anniversary of the founding of the city by King Argishti I of Urartu. Since then, the tradition has grown, and today the event draws thousands of residents and tourists, celebrating Armenia’s vibrant past and dynamic present.
