Armenia Among the Safest Countries in the World
According to the reliable international platform NUMBEO, Armenia has been ranked among the world’s top 10 safest countries for 2024, securing an impressive 7th place out of 142 countries.
Remarkably, Armenia has maintained this position since last year. Between 2019 and 2023, the country improved its ranking from 11th to 7th, reflecting continuous progress in public safety and quality of life.
Yerevan Also Climbs in Safety Rankings
The capital city, Yerevan, also showed significant improvement, climbing to 15th place among 329 cities worldwide. Last year, Yerevan ranked 20th, making this a notable advancement.
Both Armenia and Yerevan are now leaders not only in regional safety rankings but also among CIS countries. Following Armenia in the region are Georgia (18th place), Azerbaijan (33rd), and Turkey (51st). Iran ranks 90th on the same list.
