According to the Armenian Tourism Committee, 599,745 international tourists visited Armenia during the first four months of 2024.
Monthly arrivals were as follows:
January: 154,319 visitors
February: 127,241 visitors
March: 154,215 visitors
April: 163,970 visitors
This marks a slight decrease compared to the same period in 2023, when 629,620 travelers visited Armenia.
Where Are Armenia’s Tourists Coming From?
Between January and April 2024, most visitors came from:
Russia – 250,000 tourists (42%)
Georgia – 83,000 tourists (14%)
Iran – 45,000 tourists (8%)
India – 18,900 tourists (3%)
Philippines – 11,200 tourists (2%)
Notably, the majority of tourists in April 2024 (64%) arrived by air, mainly through Zvartnots International Airport near Yerevan.

The age breakdown of visitors in January–April 2024 was as follows:
0–12 years: 5%
13–17 years: 4%
18–24 years: 8%
25–34 years: 22%
35–44 years: 26%
45–54 years: 18%
55–64 years: 12%
65+ years: 5%
The largest group of travelers were adults aged 35–44, while teenagers and seniors accounted for the smallest share.
