The initiative was announced by the Famagusta Tourism Development and Promotion Company (ETAP) with support from the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, marking a significant step in the digital transformation of the island’s tourism sector.

It helps travelers discover the best beaches, landmarks, cultural events, restaurants, and customized routes tailored to individual preferences.
The AI guide also provides practical advice on museum hours, public transport, and navigation via Google Maps, functioning as a virtual personal tour guide available 24/7. With support for 194 languages, it is designed to accommodate tourists from around the world.
ETAP Famagusta highlights that the AI assistant is more than a technological upgrade — it represents a new level of personalized service for visitors.
Tourists can now get instant answers, curated recommendations, and bespoke itineraries, making their experience smoother and more engaging.
