In Cyprus, the official representative of the FEE since 1992 is the Cyprus Marine Environment Protection Association (CYMEPA). European beaches are certified before the start of the bathing season, with the official awards ceremony held on June 5.
Globally, 3,600 beaches and 677 marinas in 45 countries proudly display the Blue Flag, including popular tourist destinations such as Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Israel, and Croatia.
