SKY Express continues to enhance the connection between Greece and the Caucasus region.
Recently, the airline launched a new direct flight route between Athens and the capital of Armenia, Yerevan.
The first SKY Express plane landed at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan, where it was warmly welcomed by the airline's leadership and Greece's Ambassador to Armenia, Christos Sofianopoulos. Notably, the new route will be serviced by modern Airbus A320neo and Airbus A321neo aircraft. Flights will operate three times a week—on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday—facilitating stronger tourism, business, and cultural connections between the two countries.
The inclusion of Yerevan in SKY Express' international network marks the airline's increased presence in dynamic foreign markets. It also highlights the region's strategic importance as a key hub between Europe and Asia.
